Computer Programing Course

Wednesday, April 19 through June 7 at 7:00 p.m. - Learn computer programming at your own pace. This free 8 week course has a scheduled class time with lecture but is designed to let someone learn entirely on their own if they choose.There are prepared lecture videos and documents to watch and read. These can take the place of lectures and should teach everything needed to complete homework assignments. More information can be found here.

 

DIY Estate Planning

Thursday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m. - Wills, Trusts, and Other Essential Estate Planning Documents: What Documents Are Included in a Basic Estate Plan and What Do They Accomplish? Everybody is different and all of us have different needs when it comes to estate planning; however, every good estate plan should include some basic documents intended to carry out important functions. This seminar will review those documents and explain why you should use them in your plan.

Thursday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. - Estate Planning for Blended Families. Couples with blended families face special challenges when it comes to making sure that stocks, bonds, real estate, and other property and family heirlooms goes to the right persons at the right time when a spouse dies. This seminar will address such issues and discuss ways to solve them, using wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. 

 

Astronomy Night

Held the 2nd Thursday of each month - Would you like to know how to use your equipment and what to purchase for your personal viewing goals? Would you like to meet and socialize with people of common interests, including attending member only star parties and meteor shower observances? Writers Series

Come meet local authors from a variety of genres. These authors will share their views on the creative writing process. Discover what makes a storyline, how to write historical fiction and what drives writers. You could come away from this exceptional series with a new sense of purpose and direction, not to mention ideas that should spark your imagination for days to come. Now held once a quarter.  

 

Parenting With Love and Logic

Utah State University Extension, in partnership with Pleasant Grove City Library, will be offering a FREE “Parenting the Love and Logic Way™” workshop at the Pleasant Grove City Library. 

This is a 4 week course series held Tuesday evenings on May 16, 23, 30 and June 6 from 6:30-8:45 pm.  (Interested participants must be available to attend all four evenings and be at least 18 years old.) All course materials will be provided. Learn more and register for free here.
